Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday gave a presentation on the Swarnandhra Vision-2047 being implemented in the State to Niti Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery.

He explained to him the salient features of the vision, formulated in line with the Vikasit Bharat vision, to set targets at micro and macro level when the latter called on him. He said the vision for Andhra Pradesh was formulated after due consultation in a democratic way after taking opinion from various sections.

“One family-one AI professional and one entrepreneur has been planned to be developed under the Swarnandhra Vision document,” the Chief Minister told him. Naidu explained the possibilities and development aspirations of Andhra Pradesh and urged Niti Aayog to contribute to the implementation of innovation and new age technologies and increase the per capita income to $42,000. Naidu told him that their mission is to transform Andhra Pradesh into a $2.4 trillion economy with a growth rate of 15 per cent.

The Chief Minister hoped that the State will achieve its goal with the support of Niti Aayog and promised that the State will soon emerge as a role model for Vikasit Bharat vision and pointed out how disputes post-bifurcation with Telangana have been leading to uncertainty. He expressed anguish over failure to settle pending issues after Andhra Pradesh lost Hyderabad to Telangana.
